a couple nitpicks here, first, the planets 'dark side' doesn't have to be completely black. you could lower the opacity a bit. usually totally black means that the light source is very close and there isn't much ambient lighting. it might help the planet look better. the other nitpick on the planet is the light ring on the edge of the black. its a minor detail but it tends to stand out.
the light ring on the back side wasnt noticeable to me til i uploaded it, and i did see it, but i didnt want to fix it yesterday, and figured id get around to it soon. as for the lighting, i do want the planet to be super close (hence the reason its a molten planet, and the title of the piece), and this was just the comment i needed, to tell me what i needed. i just get a bit apprehensive when i think about adding too much brightness, cuz i never know how much is too much, or if there even is such a thing when it comes to the reaches of space.
